Fishing for compliments

A conversation with Jadzia at breakfast the other day. I was wearing my pajamas:

Jadzia: “Oooh, Daddy, I really like your pants.”

Me: “Why, thank you, Jadzia!”

(pause)

Jadzia: “Aren’t you going to say anything about me?”
